A COMMITTED FOUNDER
The Fvier d'Or chocolate factory is a company which is part of the social and solidarity economy founded by a cocoa farmer, daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter of cocoa farmers.
Franco-Cameroonian, Nadine Abondo is a true model for female entrepreneurship. Indeed, arriving in France at the age of 23, she got involved in the associative sector and took charge of medico-social establishments (ESAT and accommodation centers for young disabled workers) before launching her own chocolate factory in 2018. In addition to numerous difficulties linked to the financing of the company and then to the health crisis but also to strong a priori on disability, women's entrepreneurship or diversity, Fvier d'Or was able to recover thanks to ambition and resilience of its founder.
Nadine Abondo's perseverance is bearing fruit as she is the winner of the Les Audacieuses program supported by La Ruche in 2018, then of various financial funds granted by the CCI Paris Ile-de-France. She is received at the Elysée then at the National Assembly with her entire team in 2023, once again making her success a reality.

Since 2004, Nadine Abondo has also been the founder of an association, Almoha, which helps people suffering from rare diseases and disabilities in Africa and particularly in Cameroon. To date, it has supported more than 3,000 children and distributed tens of tons of equipment.
SOCIAL COMMITMENTS
In addition to its quality products and its commitment to sustainable and human development, the company has also set itself the mission of integrating people with disabilities who constitute more than 80% of its workforce. Thus, the company holds the so-called adapted company qualification.
The Founder created a cooperative of 150 small producers in her native region of South Cameroon. These are small producers paid at a fair price whom it supports towards an organic reconversion of their plantations and reforestation with agro-forests of fruit trees. The company therefore actively fights against the deforestation of agrarian land and participates in the diversification of local economic activities, in order to avoid the impoverishment of producers.
